At 欧美视频 Girls鈥�, we develop key capabilities in our students that will equip them for the changing world of work while developing a life-long love of learning.
The Middle Years are a significant time for brain growth and development, so it's important for students to gain skills in all learning areas. With this in mind, all Years 7 and 8 students study a core curriculum in a broad range of subjects and they are expected to take responsibility for their own learning.
The Year 9 program is designed to empower students to develop a deep sense of self-efficacy: 鈥淚 can connect, I can create, I can know and I can think鈥�.
This "I Can" model underpins all learning that takes place in Year 9 electives at 欧美视频 Girls'. It encourages students to experience increasing levels of mastery across these four domains and develop core knowledge, skills and competencies across a range of disciplines.
At 欧美视频 Girls', the VCE program is extremely flexible. Students are able to pursue their passions in a vast array of subjects, either across a broad range of disciplines or concentrated on a particular field of study. Students are also given the flexibility to complete their VCE over three years, in order to accommodate participation in sporting competitions or to support individuals with chronic conditions.
The VCE also provides opportunities for students to study vocational courses or extension studies such as first-year university subjects.
